Inovaxe to Discuss Advanced SMT Material Storage Solutions during Two SMTA Expos

Boca Raton, FL — August 2026 — Inovaxe, a world leader and provider of innovative material handling and storage systems, will showcase its advanced SMT material storage solutions at two upcoming SMTA regional events, giving electronics manufacturers an opportunity to learn more about the company’s latest solutions for high-density material storage, line-side inventory management and improved production efficiency.

The company will participate in the SMTA Michigan Expo & Tech Forum on August 18 in Livonia, Michigan, where Angelo Panagopoulos, Director of Business Development, will be available in the Inovaxe booth to discuss the LS350 Line Side Smart Rack, InoBright Smart Storage Management System, and InoHD High-Density SMT Storage System, followed by the SMTA Ohio Valley Expo & Tech Forum on August 20 in Independence, Ohio, where David Ly, Technical Sales Manager, will represent the company and provide information about both the LS350 and InoHD systems.

At both shows, Inovaxe will run live demonstrations of its Line Side Model LS350 Smart Rack, part of the company’s LS Series of intelligent storage systems. The Inovaxe Line Side Model LS350 Smart Rack is an intelligent line-side material storage solution designed to optimize SMT production efficiency by providing immediate access to up to 192 seven-inch component reels directly at the SMT line. Engineered to support just-in-time replenishment, the LS350 minimizes operator travel and material handling while ensuring critical components are always within reach. Its compact design enables rapid production changeovers, helping manufacturers reduce downtime, and maintain continuous production flow in manufacturing environments.

Live demonstrations of the InoBright Smart Storage Management System will be available during SMTA Michigan. This system transforms traditional OEM pick-and-place feeder carts into intelligent, connected storage assets—empowering manufacturers with real-time visibility, traceability, and control over component handling on the SMT production floor. With this system, Inovaxe eliminates common setup errors and accelerates feeder changeovers, helping customers reduce downtime, increase accuracy, and improve overall line efficiency.

Alongside the live demos, Inovaxe will also be highlighting its new InoHD™ platform through video walkthroughs and on-site discussions. The system takes a different approach to a familiar problem: floor space.

InoHD™ replaces traditional storage aisles with servo-driven mobile shelving combined with smart sensing and pick-to-light technology. The result is dense storage without sacrificing accessibility. Operators can access materials directly where they’re needed, with built-in verification to help prevent picking mistakes. In terms of capacity, the system is designed to store 10,560 SMT reels within a compact footprint of 8 ft x 4 ft (32 square feet or 3 square meters), while still maintaining fast, guided retrieval. For manufacturers working with limited space—or trying to avoid expanding it—that kind of density can make a noticeable difference.
